Nuova Simonelli Musica Direct Connect. Mfg date 04/25. Got it plumbed this morning and it works perfectly. Upgrade from my Gaggia Classic. I guess I have to step up my grind game too. I think someone ordered it and sent it back because it has to be plumbed. Shipping label on box showed that it was sent from customer to FedEx. Somehow it ended up at Goodwill. Any tips for this machine?

Dude. Score of a lifetime. I wonder what the story about that machine needing up at a goodwill is.

The Espresso Gods were smiling on you, bro. Score of the decade! Well done. Enjoy!

If your coffee station doesn’t have convenient access to a water line, Flojet pump and bottled water is your friend. 1/4” push to connect hose and you’ll be up and running in minutes.

Wow, nice. Bet you can get $150 for the Gaggia too!

Wow! And I thought my $5 Goodwill find of a Delonghi missing the accoutrements was a deal (well it sort of was). But this is awesome!

Wow! That’s an amazing score! Annoyingly in the UK most electrical.items that are donated get binned as they can’t be sold without being tested. Let us know how the coffee is!

I genuinely want to know what you think of your grinder. I have had mine for 10 years and want to compare notes.

Lol you indeed owe this machine a new grinder😅😂

It’s at the Goodwill because that’s where I told my butler to bring it. It was either that or throw it out in the trash where any of plebeians could find it!

I want to be happy for you but all I see are items with questionable stains from my goodwill stores 😡😡

You won the lottery! Personally I would’ve sold it, bought something in between, and pocketed the rest. I don’t have any elegant way to plumb an espresso machine in my kitchen.

How much did you end up paying for it?

This is crazy, hope you let us know how you like it after working with it. Congrats on the find

Although not quite as brand new as yours. I also found the bargain of a lifetime, but on FB marketplace from a small cafe that was only open for two months.

The best bit? I snagged if for a whopping £100!

A few years on she still purrs like a kitten and pulls a half decent shot.

If you notice peaking from the corner of the pic, I also run a Sage Pro Grinder, no major issue but I do fear there’s alot of headroom I’m missing with the consistency/quality of grinds.

Although two Americano’s and a latte a day means the budget grinder can’t be that bad right?
